By using a graphite/fibreglass construction with uni-directional wrapping, we have created a process enhancing the design to create a blank that is incredibly resilient, and has immense backbone and lifting power to control and lead strong fish. Complementing the blank is titanium oxide guides, EVA grips, hooded reel seats and rubber gimbals

These great rods are perfectly matched with a wide range of our reels from the budget minded Laguna 5i to the super performance of the Saltist Nero. With a wide range of models that suit a wide range of offshore fishing styles there is sure to be a model that suits. 

The Daiwa Saltist BW rod range is a great value for money rod range, but still built tough. The range of Saltist BW rods have a fast taper meaning they still have sensitivity in the tip but also have a lot of grunt down low. Within the Saltist BW rod range are three overhead rods to cover a few options. The Saltist BW SJ 56-50/80Bis a heavy rod with heaps of stopping power rated from 24-37kg and have a jig rating up to 300g and designed for big fish. The Saltist BW 60B is a great rod and will also double as a bottom bashing stick and is rated from PE 4-6 but will also jig up to 300g Jigs. The Saltis BW 64BJB is a light overhead jig rod that is also a good rod for bottom bashing with 30lb line or bait fishing for snapper, it will also double as a slow jigging rod.
