These combos are a fantastic light weight combo to fish with. The Daiwa Overthere 109MH is one of the middle of the range in weight and lure class and is suited to cast lures from 15-60gram cast weight, so you can still cast it all day without fatigue, and the prime casting weight puts you at 40g a very common weight in casting plugs and a good size for most small pelagic species. The combo is also a great one for casting big soft plastics off breakwalls and beaches. The reel is the Shimano Stradic and suits it perfectly. The Stradic is Shimano’s work horse reel and wont let you down. The Shimano Stradic also comes with a 10 Year Shimano Australia Warranty. The combo is suited for Tailor, Salmon, Mulloway, Bonito and other pelagic species that will eat a lure.
