Daiwa Crossfire Surf 1203L Beach Fishing Combo 

This combo is an ideal light surf combo. The Daiwa Crossfire Surf 1203 (light) is the lightest in the range of 12ft Crossfire surf rods and is rated at 3-6kg. This combo comes with a 3 piece rod wich is ideal if you want a rod that will compact down enough to fit in the boot of the car, and can be handier when you have a long walk to your fishing spot or you walk through heavy cover to get there. The combo is perfect for all types of beach bait fishing for Bream, Whiting, Salmon and Tailor, and will cast up to 40g lures. The longer 12ft rod will give you ample casting distance and keep the line above the shore break when fishing a bait in the gutter. Being a bit softer than most other 12ft beach rods available it will still bend and this makes fighting fish that are no monsters much more fun.
