Striking in black and featherlight to hold, both reels feature a new compact frame (80 size) that sits unobtrusively on the rod and in the hand thanks to its streamlined, ultra low profile. The CC80 features a carbon concept (CC) frame and side plate, and four ball bearings, while the CR80 features a carbon resin (CR) frame and side and seven ball bearings.

Daiwa’s Magforce magnetic cast control system delivers unrivalled line control, with the advanced cast control system ensuring trouble-free and super easy, pin-point casts every time. Casting performance and balance is further enhanced with a lightweight, drilled, 32mm, double anodized aluminium spool, ensuring effortless spool start up and enhanced rotational balance.

The drag on both reels are equally performance driven, with 7kg of silky smooth drag giving you the stopping power to take control anywhere, anytime.
